Good luck to all the candidates. They all represent the cream of the crop in the industry.

I know Jim Heckendorf and Gordon Van Zuiden personally.

Each would bring tremendous talent to the organization.  I am endorsing both of them.

I recognize many of the names on the list, and many others are talented.

I have known Anthony Pavia for more than 8 years and it is a pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with him as a vender, industry associate and also see how he bonds with his clients. I feel his years of experience and vast technical knowledge would be a terrific addition to the CEDIA Team. He has never been afraid to step outside the “safe zone”, review new products, assist other dealers and just be a great industry representative. I hope people look at his profile and aska round. Great addition that would represent the dealer very well.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jim Heckendorf in the office as well as in the field.  He is a consumate professional with a real understanding of our industry and our customers.  He would bring a fresh perspective to Cedia that would be very beneficial.  Vote for him.

As a very active CEDIA volunteer I want to recommend you take a close look at Mike Creeden and Eric Lee. I know both well and they are no-nonsense types who are always looking out for the regular guy. Ken, Randy and Gordon are also great people and dedicated volunteers and worthy of your consideration. Please vote, it matters.

Thanks Julie (and all the CE Pro-zers) for this content.  I have held many of these positions, and instructed much of the CEDIA education arsenal.  My recommendation would be to examine your position, one of my votes will be for Eric Lee.  I have known Eric as a customer, vendor, friend, fellow Cert-committee member, and Instructor.  Many of our choices this year do not have this depth of experience or perspective. Good luck to all.

Please review the bios and vote for the five candidates you feel will build the best CEDIA Board of Directors.

I am supporting Eric Lee and Jim Heckendorf for the Board, and carefully weighing my other three votes from the remaining eight choices.

First, Thank You very much, CE PRO, for providing a central, public location that everyone in our industry can go to for a comprehensive review of CEDIA Board candidates.  An informed constituency of CEDIA voters will result in the best possible selection.

To all who are reading this: I cannot over emphasize the energy, experience, passion, and skill set that Jim Heckendorf can bring to the CEDIA Board. As co-owner of the firm at which he works, his experience before coming to Cybermation coupled with the extraordinary knowledge of our industry that he has gained over the past 6 years in a firm of our type and size would bring a voice to the CEDIA Board for integrator firms that is the soul of our industry.

Our firm stands ready to provide the support to insure Jim can devote the necessary resources to give back to the industry which Jim helped to grow over the past 6 years that he has been with us.

Jim Heckendorf and Cybermation have been one of the one of the leading RTI dealers in the Twin Cities for several years.  Jim has always been very innovative in his integration of RTI control systems into new and challenging environments, and has been a joy to work with.

Ron Wilkerson would be an invaluable member of the CEDIA board. I had the pleasure of working with Ron at The Home Theater Store, and saw on a daily basis the passion he has for this industry. Ron would bring not only his knowledge and experience to the board, but the unique ability to pass that on to others around him.  Through trainings Mr. Wilkerson dramatically increased the level of commitment to quality work and salesmanship throughout the company.  By leading by example Mr. Wilkerson changed the entire direction of the type of sales we strived for.  No longer a box moving in and out electronic store, he helped us become a unique custom extremely knowledgeable sales force ready and willing to take our clients experiences to the next level. I strongly recommend voting for Ron Wilkerson!!!
