Utz Baldwin to Keynote D-Tools University Virtual Training & Expo
CEDIA CEO will kick off D-Tools and training event and user conference slated for December 1-3, 2009.
CONCORD, Calif. — D-Tools and the Consumer Technology Publishing Group today announced that CEDIA CEO Utz Baldwin will be the keynote speaker for the first annual Virtual D-Tools University, taking D-Tools' annual training event and user conference to an online environment. This unique blend of online training, networking and a virtual trade show environment is scheduled for December 1-3, 2009.
"We are honored to name Utz Baldwin as our keynote speaker for this landmark online training event," said Adam Stone, President and CEO of D-Tools. "Our annual DTU event is our most important customer event of the year, and we are looking forward to incorporating the new technologies available to help make it more widely accessible to the entire D-Tools community. Utz is the perfect person to help us launch this new component of education, product training, and social networking that well could be a new blueprint for industry events moving forward."
The D-Tools University Online Training & EXPO will offer attendees intensive training on D-Tools' award-winning System Integrator 5.5 software, education on best practices for generating winning system designs and proposals, and show attendees how to maximize the business and project management capabilities of the software. The Virtual EXPO will feature online trade show "exhibits" from leading CE manufacturers, and will provide online attendees with social networking opportunities and other special virtual online event experiences. The three-day online event will also be archived and available to attendees for 90 days following the event.
As part of the DTU Online Training & EXPO, the 7th annual D-Tools Design Awards winners will be announced. The 2009 D-Tools Design Awards showcase the finest residential and commercial system integration projects created with D-Tools' award-winning System Integrator software.
