URC’s CCP Software Makes Programming Easy
Universal Remote Control (URC) dealers, for years, had to use individual programs to set up the company's line of universal remote controls. But with the release of the Complete Control Program (CCP) software, installers now have a program that can be used to set up the flagship MX-6000, the MX-880, MX-3000, MX-980, the ZigBee-based MX-880z and support devices.
URC will be reinforcing CCP's capabilities during October with live Webinar training sessions that range from complete overviews to individual product programming.
I used the CCP software to program the MX-6000, KP-900 and MX-980. Once I got over the initial learning curve, the program was intuitive and easy to use.
The PC-based software uses Microsoft's Active Sync technology to sync with URC's remotes. Once the software is opened, experienced URC dealers will find its many features familiar enough to facilitate the transition into the everyday use of the CCP program.
