Tech Data To Distribute 3D TVs
Distributor diversifies its product offering through its Consumer Technology Group by adding 3D TVs.
It appears the momentum for 3D just keeps rolling. Giant retail distributor Tech Data Corporation has now announced that it will expanded its product offering in consumer electronics to include 3D TVs and certain laptop PCs through its Consumer Technology Group.
Calling the diversification of the products"a key component of Tech Data’s ongoing growth strategy,” Tech Data senior vice president, U.S. marketing Joe Quaglia says the distributor has added 1,300 CE retailers to its customer base. He says the addition of 3D TVs and the Lenovo IdeaPad laptops will allow the company to capitalize on the demand.
Among the company's vendor slate in the Home Video and Audio category are BenQ, Canon, Epson, InFocus, LG, Mitsubishi, NEC, Optoma, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, ViewSonic, Vivitek and Vizio, as well as accesories vendors like APC, Belkin, Cables To Go, Chief, Monster, Planar, and Tripp Lite.
