Sunfire Now Shipping HRS Satellite Speakers
Use High Back-emf technology and handle up to 200 watts per channel.
Sunfire is now shipping its HRS Satellite speakers, which are designed to complement its HRS subwoofer line.
The SAT-4 and SAT4C center channel feature the company's core High Back-emf technology and long-throw woofers to handle up to 200 watts per channel.
The 4.5-inch High Back-emf woofer uses a Trifilar voice coil design that incorporates triple dual voice coils rolled into one.
The woofer is magnetically shielded to reduce interference with CRT-based displays. Its cone is made of the same Kevlar found in body armor and racing sails for tighter bass and fast response, the company says.
Both HRS speakers use a 1-inch ring-radiating, silk-dome tweeter with high frequency response and off-axis dispersion.
The HRS satellite and center models may be used on a shelf or mounted to a wall with built-in keyhole openings on the rear.
The SAT4C has an additional 4.5-inch woofer in a D'Appolito configuration and an integrated "kick-stand" for custom tilting for on-TV or under-TV applications.
Each HRS cabinet has a curved styling and is sealed, resulting in ultra-tight bass and high output.
The HRS Sat has optional stands available for floorstanding applications.
The HRS speakers and subwoofers come in a gloss black finish. A natural cherry finish will be available in November.
MSRP
HRS SAT-4 ($450 each)
HRS-SAT4C ($550 each)
HRS Sat ($550)
HRS-8 Subwoofer ($650)
