Press Release: SRS Labs Appoints Vice President of Marketing
New executive is known for forging creative solutions in fast paced consumer electronics environments

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRSL), a leading provider of surround sound, audio enhancement and voice processing technologies, announced the appointment of Mr. Allen H. Gharapetian as the company's new Vice President of Marketing, effective February 18, 2008. He will be responsible for devising and implementing the company's strategic and tactical plans in corporate marketing, branding and marketing communications, including advertising, public relations, graphics, and market research.

Mr. Gharapetian brings more than 17 years of consumer marketing and business management experience in consumer electronics and computer peripherals to SRS Labs, most recently as the Vice President of Marketing for Starport Systems engaged in development and marketing of technologies for mobile communications. Prior to that, Mr. Gharapetian was the Vice President of Global Marketing & Global Product Management at Targus Group International, the industry leader in notebook cases and mobile accessories. Prior to its acquisition by Imation, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Memorex Products Inc. where he was instrumental in raising Memorex' brand positioning and expanding its product portfolio. Prior to Memorex, Mr. Gharapetian spent several years at Yamaha Corporation of America where he last served as the General Manager of the Multimedia Products Division of Yamaha Electronics. Mr. Gharapetian received his M.B.A. in International Business from
the top-ranked (by WSJ, FT, and Business Week) Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona.

Clearly focused on leveraging the company's current momentum into new markets such as mobile phones, portable media devices and car audio systems, Gharapetian will be a key leader in driving the company's marketing efforts to systematically cultivate and elevate the SRS brand globally.

Commenting on the appointment, chairman and CEO Thomas C.K. Yuen said, "Allen brings to SRS his tremendous marketing and branding experience within the consumer electronics industry. His appointment at this juncture is especially strategic as we continue to expand into new product categories with our world-class audio technologies.
