SIM2 SIRIO 3D Projector Delivers High Brightness at CES 2013
This new single-chip 3D DLP projector is designed for use in entertainment systems where the demand for high light output is required. SIM2 is positioning the SIRIO as a two-piece projection system that is smaller and more energy-efficient alternative to plasma or LCD units.
Powered by a dual 350W lamp system, SIRIO delivers images with both very high brightness (up to 6,000 ANSI lumens) and high contrast (up to 6,000:1) without the screen reflection typical of flat panels.
SIRIO is available with a choice of two different SIM2 color wheel options - SIM2color and SIM2shine, each designed to offer optimal performance in color and/or brightness. It will ship in January 2013 for $28,000.
SIRIO features PureMovie, PureAction, and PureAction 3D user modes and SIM2’s advanced Live Colors, Calibration 2.0 software. An wide array of connection possibilities is available including HDMI 1.4 and LAN inputs, and it also comes with up to five lenses.
