SIM2 Plays Key Role in Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol’
SIM2 expedites a LUMIS projector to filming location in Prague for Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
SIM2 has accomplished yet another important "mission."
When a request came in a few months ago for the shipping of a LUMIS projector that was to be used during production of Tom Cruise's new action flick Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol, SIM2 delivered a fully calibrated unit to the film’s shooting location in Prague in less than 8 hours from factory to screening room.
The filmmakers and cast were able to screen footage in perfect color reproduction and brightness worthy of a studio’s screening room, whilst still on location.
“It was through the skills of a team of seasoned professionals that we were able to provide the solution for this request promptly,” says Alberto Fabiano executive vice president of SIM2 USA.
“When we received the call, the entire organization, on both sides of the Atlantic, treated the request with immediate attention and care.”

This cracks me up! Good ploy at marketing this.
It’s not as if Sim2 was chosen for its quality over other projectors. The SIM2 corporate office literally 8 hours & 15 minutes from where these scenes were being shot. This was a request made out of convenience and not much else. I love how SIM2 USA is commenting on the story for SIM2s marketing purposes as if they had anything to do with it.
“Seasoned Professionals”? “Both sides of the Atlantic”? LOL! Uhhhh, if you mean a professional box packer and shipping handler? Maybe. Unless they want people to assume that SIM2 world headquarters doesn’t have a few calibrated machines lying around the office? Give me a break! :/
