Show us Your Racks! 2010: Call for Entries
We want your great looking racks to feature in CE Pro. Send them in!
CE Pro and Middle Atlantic Products want to show off the best racks in the fourth annual Great Looking Racks contest.
We want to feature the best A/V racks you've ever built in the November issue of CE Pro. But while the back of the rack always gets the most attention for great wiring, we want to see what you've done to the front.
Maybe they’re tricked out. Maybe they solve unique installation challenges. Maybe they use neon lights or feature a monitor. We want to show off your work!
This year's entries will again be posted online, with expanded coverage from the November print edition. Check out past winners: 2009 | 2008 | 2007.

- A list of components (in order that they appear in the rack)
- What makes this rack/installation unique

I have a great entry this year. 4 - 8’ tall racks. For the first time i used all black cable inside the racks. When you look at it you think to yourself (is this guy done?).
Hopefully i make it back there to get pics by the deadline.
Show your racks!! So what no dinner no movie? just straight to it huh…. how cheap do I feel now!
How many more times will the CEPro editors
use this”)crude and offensive to women)” way to discuss racks? This is getting really old and it shows just how unimaginative the writers are!

I would request that every submission should have a front and rear picture - it’s easy to make a rack look sexy from the front, just screw some shelves in and throw a blacklight behind it (ooh! ahh!) and/or hire a great millworker (no AV skills required). The real beauty is how the beast is punched down.
