Schneider Launches C-Bus Wireless Lighting Controls
RF dimmers, switches and controllers target retrofit and add-on residential apps.
Schneider Electric has launched a line of C-Bus wireless lighting controls, including a wireless gateway, decorator-style RF dimmers, switches and scene controllers.
The C-Bus RF wireless gateway provides a C-Bus protocol communication bridge between a single C-Bus RF wireless system and a single C-Bus wired network. Because both networks use the same protocol, the gateway allows the wireless and wired networks to communicate and interact with each other, allowing for third-party functionality, with the ability to control audio, blinds, irrigation systems and more.
The Neo and Saturn decorator-style 600W and 1,000W RF dimmers are designed to replace standard wall switches and dimmers. Each dimmer controls one load. All of the RF devices can be controlled via an RF wireless remote control and the RF devices have learn and scene capabilities.
The dimmers are two-wire retrofit devices using the switching leg (line and load), and are available in two-and four-button models in a variety of colors.
The Neo and Saturn decorator-style switch and scene controllers are designed to replace standard wall switches. Each switch controls one load. All of the RF devices can be controlled via the RF wireless remote control and have learn and scene capabilities as well.
The switches are two-wire retrofit devices using available in two-and four-button models. The units can be used for 3-way switching, 4-way switching or scene control.
Schneider says more wireless products will soon be added to the line.
