Savant Revamps Web Site for Apple-Based Automation System
Improved layout aims to bring Savant’s Apple-based automation and entertainment technology to a much broader audience
Savant Systems LLC, having delivered Rosie, the first Apple-based home automation and control system, has announced the official launch of their new and improved Web site located at www.savantav.com.
Improved layout and more intuitive navigation were paramount to the design of Savant’s new Web site, along with beautiful lifestyle photography and consumer friendly language, bringing the power of Savant’s Apple-based automation and entertainment technology to a much broader audience. The new site also contains critical new media formats such as interactive videos, a photo gallery, and a social networking program involving Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
“One critical objective of our new Web site was to clearly illustrate to consumers how Savant technology can bring together the functionality of systems throughout the home,” explained Savant’s director of marketing Craig Spinner. “Residential end-users can see lighting, climate control, home theater, and many other services all working together in concert.
“Our commercial clients also reap the same benefits from the site re-design in such market categories as education, corporate business, government, healthcare and other industries seeking powerful and efficient technology solutions.”
There is a dedicated section of the new Web site for Savant’s commercial clients highlighting the products and solutions that can be tailored to countless applications as businesses seek to effectively harness the boundless technologies of the 21st century.
Another point of interest within the new website is a page dedicated to Savant’s New York City Experience Center, a powerful and elegant space divided into a residential section (open by appointment now) and a commercial section slated to open later in 2010.
The Products section of the Web site details the all of Savant’s versatile offerings, from the cost efficient and powerful PROTÉGÉ system to Savant’s larger control platforms. Also featured is the vast array of remote controls, touch panels, docking stations and other critical accessories.
The Technology page showcases Savant’s legendary OSD (On-Screen Display) interface, the industry changing TrueImage Control with GestureTouch technology, and the world’s first and most powerful whole-home two-way iPhone and iPod touch mobile device application.
“As Savant has expanded our authorized dealer base and increased our overall visibility, we felt it imperative that our website evolve with us, speaking to a variety of critical audiences interested in learning more about the world’s most advanced automation and entertainment hardware and software products,” Spinner concluded.
