Sanus’ latest furniture solutions, the BFAV344 TV stand carries an MSRP of $270 and the BFAV550 carries an MSRP of $230.

Years ago it was much easier for dealers to dismiss the importance of furniture sales as part of their A/V system solutions, but today furniture is an essential part of the system equation. Products like Sanus' Basic Series Furniture can help installers augment their flat-panel TV, two-channel audio and home theater system sales by providing an in-house solution that saves a client a trip to a furniture store.

The St. Paul, Minn.-based company recently started to ship two models from the Basic Series: the BFAV344 and BFAV550 three-shelf A/V stands. The BFAV344 features a high-gloss black lacquered finish and a curved shape, and Sanus describes the design of the BFAV550 as a "waterfall" design with hardwood front veneers that are available in a chestnut or chocolate finish.

Both stands incorporate cable management provisions, and they are engineered to support televisions ranging in size up to 56 inches and TV weights up to 125 pounds. In addition, Sanus says that installers can use the stands in tandem with the company's Foundations FMK056 Mount Kit to assemble an easy-to-implement, no-drill TV mounting solution.
