Samsung ‘Smart Window’ Converts Windows to TVs, Touchscreens
Samsung's Smart Window not only converts a home's window into a giant touchscreen/TV, but it also gets some of its backlight and power from the sun.
At CES 2012, Samsung showed off its new Smart Window that converts a home's window into a giant touchscreen and television.
The primary application, according to Samsung, is kitchens, so no longer will you have to watch a tiny screen while cooking. Pretty cool.
Check out this 2-minute video. It's an actual window looking to the outside of a home. (It's simulated for CES demo purposes, of course.)
