Russound E-Series With Advanced Multizone Controller/ Amp and Click Wheel Keypad

NEWMARKET, N.H.-- Russound, the #1 brand in multiroom audio, is following up its roll-out of the Sphere Certified Integrator Program with two products available exclusively through Sphere Certified Integrators.

Set to be featured at the 2007 CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO, is the ACA-E5 Multizone Controller Amplifier and KLK-E5 Click Wheel Keypad. Both of these products are compatible with Russound’s line of RNET Smart Source components.

ACA-E5 Multizone Controller Amplifier



Russound’s ACA-E5 is an eight-zone/twelve-source controller amplifier that ups the ante on whole-house distribution by offering a myriad of improvements over the current flagship model, CAV6.6. Specifically, the ACA-E5 offers more distribution zones, twice as many source inputs, a built-in AM/FM tuner, a Smart Module slot for the addition of an internal source satellite or AM/FM radio tuners, support for up to two doorbells (including internal chime options), IP integration with an included webserver for expanded control, interface and programming options, and much more.

The ACA-E5 is Russound’s most powerful multizone controller amplifier to date, featuring 40 watts per channel for detailed, high-performance sonic output. All Russound RNET Smart Source components are compatible with the ACA-E5.

KLK-E5 Click Wheel Keypad

With a nod to the touchring design recognized and favored by millions of end-users, the KLK-E5 keypad (pictured above) is a multi-line, menudriven, advanced keypad that offers intuitive control with access to all metadata and relevant information. The KLK-E5 makes it easy to control the ACA-E5 controller amplifier with a wide selection of options, presented in an easy-to-understand design.

Installation is as easy as the KLK-E5 employs Russound’s “Standard Fit” doublegang box layout.

Sphere Certification Ensures Best Knowledge and Know-How

Both the ACA-E5 and KLK-E5 are part of the new E-Series that is available exclusively through Russound’s growing network of Sphere Certified Integrators. By formalizing a certification process, Russound is making sure that its team of Sphere professionals stays up to date on the latest product developments.

To participate in the program, dealers must belong to a recognized trade association in the consumer electronics, computer, telecom, electrical, or security industries. Additionally, they must commit to never selling Russound products via the Internet or mail order, and demonstrate proficiencies in all areas of custom audio/video installation. After eligibility is established, dealers are tested on a variety of relevant subjects that pertain both to the RNET product line and the custom installation industry as a whole.

Both the ACA-E5 and the KLK-E5 will ship in Q4 2007, at $5650.00 and $599.00 MAP, respectively.
