RTI’s Sleek ST-7 Universal Controller Talks Two-way ZigBee, WiFi
Wireless touchscreen remote includes capacitive touchscreen and trackball.
Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) is coming out with a slick new ZigBee-compatible touchscreen that can mount on the wall, sit on the coffee table, and perform numerous feats of remote control-ness.
The forthcoming ST-7 features two-way wireless via ZigBee RF technology. It also includes wireless Ethernet and an IP intercom.

A seven-inch widescreen capacitive LCD touchscreen combines multitouch capacitive touchscreen and an integrated trackball.
We don't have all the details yet, but presumably the ST-7 will be compatible with other ZigBee-enabled products in the RTI lineup.
The universal remote control will be demonstrated at CEDIA Expo 2009.

About freaking time! The T4 was/is/always will be awful looking. It drove me crazy that the industries best hand held remote came from the same company as the worst 640X480 touchscreen. This panel is exactly what RTI needs to continue grabbing market share.
Thanks for the sneak peek Julie!
Fantastic….cant wait to see the price point.
great looking panel. trackball is a nice touch! They build a very dependable panel.
Anyone know if this will be out in our lifetime? RTI typically has products on their website 12 months before they’re released. This one is not even on the site.
RTI is the slowest manufacturer to put out new product out there. They remind me of Colorado Vnet!
