The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) TechHome Division has presented its highest honor--the Leadership Award--to Roland Graham, founder of HDHomes.tv.
Graham, a former commercial and residential integrator who has volunteered on the association board for six years, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the industry during the Mark of Excellence ceremony held at EHX - The CE Pro Event in Orlando.
Accepting the award, he said that his work with the members of the association has helped him define the meaning of "leadership."
"I've had the opportunity and the privilege to be taught leadership by everyone in the industry. It's and honor to give back to the industry . That's where true leadership comes from. I accept this award with true humility," he said.
Graham was surprised on stage by his wife, who appropriately presented him with a Hawaiian lei of flowers. Graham announced earlier in the evening that he is leaving the electronics industry and moving with his family to teach athletics at a private school in Hawaii.
Congratulations Roland!
