Pass & Seymour’s Recessed Television Box

04.21.2008 — Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S) has introduced its Recessed Television Boxes, which can handle up to 12 multimedia connections while providing surge protected power.

The space-saving design simplifies connections to cable or satellite boxes, DVRs, DVD players, surround-sound systems and more. Plugs and multimedia connections stay behind the wall surface and snap-on end caps hide mounting screws.

The boxes are designed to be used with flat screens, home offices, kitchen counter tops and behind furniture to allow snug placement. They’re available in all inclusive kits with Cat 5e, F-connector, old work and TVSS receptacles to protect the surges from being damaged.

“Today’s homeowners demand more multimedia than ever before, and the recessed TV boxes provide convenient connections that are equally suitable behind a flat screen TV or in plain sight,” says P&S residential product manager Tom Roy.

“These 1-piece, easy to install products have the versatility to please contractors and homeowners.”

The boxes are compatible with all P&S Keystone low-voltage connectors and standard wall plates.
