Yamaha DVX-700 HTIB Features Upscaling DVD Player

Includes two satellites, one 70-watt subwoofer and full HD 1080p HDMI output.

Yamaha has unleashed its DVX-700 2.1-channel home-theater-in-a-box (HTIB) that features a DVD player, two front speakers and one 70-watt subwoofer.

DVX-700 offers full HD 1080p HDMI digital output, 1080p video upscaling and 210 watts of power between the two satellite speakers and the subwoofer.

The two front speakers each boast a two-way acoustic suspension design with a 2 1/8-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, while the shielded, bass reflex sub houses a 6 1/2-inch driver. The speakers include removable stands and are wall-mountable with vertical and horizontal placement capability.

The Yamaha DVX-700 also offers:
  • Yamaha's Air Surround Xtreme technology that creates a 360-degree sound stage
  • A built-in FM tuner and XM/Sirius capability
  • Four surround modes (Movie, Music, Sports and Game)
  • A USB port to connect to an external device
It's compatible with Yamaha's YBA-10 wireless Bluetooth receivers and YDS-10/YDS-11 universal iPod docks and restores compressed music files with its Music Enhancer.
