Lowell Manufacturing, provider of A/V racks and power products, has introduced three new products:

Pivoting Wall Rack with Supporting Base

The new LWBR wall racks include a supporting base and a pivoting rack. The rack pivots either right or left (field changeable) on a ball transfer system via Lowell's internal hinging system, providing easy access to interior equipment and cable management.

LWBR racks support 500 pounds of gear and are available in 24-, 35-, 40, or 44-RU heights. Racks can be ordered with depths of 22-, 28- and 32-inch depths.

The dual-rail system offers 10 X 32 or "cage nut" hardware solutions. The steel rack is finished in black powder epoxy. Optional solid-surface or Plexiglas front doors are available.

Host Rack System

Lowell's new LHR host rack systems maximize equipment accessibility without eating up floor space. The system includes a cabinet with a rollout, rotating 19-inch EIA internal frame that’s ideal for applications where space is at a premium and rear access to housing is not required.

LHR racks can be positioned back-to-back or against walls. The cabinet stays in position while the frame slides out and pivots right or left.

The unit has a 750-pound load capacity and is available in 24-, 35-, and 44 RU (32-inch depth); or 35- and 44 RU (42-inch depth).

Power System

The new PowerstAC modular power system is a "cost-effective" solution for custom-configured, factory-installed power, according to Lowell

Integrators can select from a library of power modules, junction boxes and chassis lengths to design their own system that can then be pre-mounted into a rack. The rack arrives with power built in, "resulting in shop/field savings in both time and labor," the company says.
