Lifeware's Client iPhone application is now available in Apple's App Store.

The app, demoed at CEDIA Expo 2008, connects to Lifeware systems via the home network and uses the iPod Touch or iPhone as a full-featured remote.

Lifeware 2.0.4 or later has to be installed in the home in order for the iPhone interface to work.

The Lifeware Client iPhone app can:
  • Interact with Lifeware-enabled home
  • Control audio zone volume
  • Control home automation devices
  • Run Lifescenes from the iPhone or iPod Touch
  • Browse music collection by album, artist and playlist
The company says the menu, which was created in Lifeware Visual Project, automatically displays and needs no special programming.
