Crestron is letting everyone at CEDIA Expo know that they're supporting the iPhone, hanging a massive display of the Apple product from the ceiling above their booth.

It's not just a cut-out, either -- it's got real depth.

Crestron's new iPhone application, a free download from the App Store, supports SystemBuilder, VT Pro-e and SIMPL and is treated like any other touchpanel in the system.

According to the company, setup requires:
  • Naming the home or office as a location
  • Entering the IP address of the 2-Series controller
  • Establishing a password for security
All the functionality of the company's control products are available on the iPhone.
