Bryston is introducing its D-Series 8-channel zone amplifiers -- the D-130Z and D-250Z.
The company says there will eventually be four models in the D-Series rated at 90, 130, 250 and 400 watts per channel at 4 ohms.
Each model has bridgeable channels, assignable input configurations and independent level controls for each channel.
The D-130Z delivers 130 watts at 4 ohms and has four stereo zones bridgeable to 400 watts at 8 ohms.
The D-250Z has eight channels with 250 watts at 4 ohms. It also has four stereo zones bridgeable to 800 watts at 8 ohms.
The stereo bus on each model can be linked to other amps, and 12v trigger powers the amplifiers on and off and mutes each zone independently.
Both have soft-start circuit and gold-plated 5-way speaker binding posts.
Bryston will display the D-130Z and D-250Z at its booth (637) at CEDIA Expo 2008.
MSRP is $4,395 for the D-130Z and $5,695 for the D-250Z.
