Planet Waves Custom Install Supply Rebrands as Cleerline Technology
Former business cooperative between the D'Addario Co. and Custom Install Supply known as PWCIS is now Cleerline Technology Group.
D'Addario & Company, Inc. and Custom Install Supply, Inc. have officially formed Cleerline Technology Group, LLC. Cleerline has been formed in the image of the former business cooperative arrangement known as Planet Waves Custom Install Solutions, commonly referred to as PWCIS.
The partnership was unique in the industry in that it is created a web portal between a manufacturer (Planet Waves) and a distributor (Custom Install Supply).
The newly created Cleerline Technology Group has assumed all business operations formally conducted jointly by Planet Waves CI (a Division of D'Addario & Co.) and Custom Install Supply. The principals in this new entity will be Custom Install Supply principals Rick Sant and Ryan Prentice; and Robert D'Addario and the D'Addario family investors.
"The new business structure is very exciting for the team at Custom Install Supply, and the D’Addario family,” says D’Addario. “It allows for the autonomy and flexibility of a small business, while allowing us to reap the benefits of the larger, more established corporation. It also allows us to aggressively pursue the opportunities before us with our new fiber optic cable offering that we will market under the Cleerline name."
"For our customers, factory representatives, and vendors, this will be a very seamless transition,” says Prentice. “All former PWCIS accounts have been transferred into our new system and our old websites will direct all users to the new site: http://www.clrtec.com. Our financial stability is as strong as ever, as our business is still majority-owned by the D'Addario family. Our customers and vendors can remain confident as we are still backed by over 100 years of business operating experience.”
