Phase Technology Untethers Teatro Speakers
Teatro WL-SURR line uses 2.4GHz band to deliver uncompressed audio.
Some installs are tougher than others. For those times when you can't find the perfect speaker spot, Phase Technology has its Teatro surrounds.
The new Teatro WL-SURR line of wireless surround speakers promises unprecedented, uncompressed audio. Designed for both home theater or smaller-scale audio installs, the WL-Surround speaker just needs AC power to blast out sound.
The speakers use active digital crossovers, along with 100 watts of total amplifier power split between the woofer and tweeters. Phase boasts an interference-free signal on the transmitter, using the 2.4GHz band. The transmitter has two inputs for the surrounds and one for an optional subwoofer receiver. The optional WL-RX SUB receiver can turn any powered subwoofer into a wireless subwoofer.
Available in black or white, the unit has a slim 4.5-inch cabinet and a bipole/dipole switchable design. Use two systems in the same room as well as many sub receivers on the same transmitter.
