NEC Display is introducing a new line of digital signage displays – the MultiSync 15 Series.
The line includes the 32-inch LCD3215 and 42-inch LCD4215 displays. Inputs include: DVI with HDCP, 15-pin D-sub, component video, composite video and S-video.
Both include protection against permanent image retention and thermal technology to prevent overheating.
The displays feature a 1,366 x 768 resolution, 500 cd/m2 brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio.
The monitors, which have protective glass and are touch panel-ready, can be controlled via RS-232.
"The MultiSync 15 Series is a commercial-grade solution designed for organizations that want a more affordable system than higher-end NEC digital signage displays," says Jean McLaughlin, senior product line manager at NEC.
They also include thermal control with high temperature protection and up to 4x4 TileMatrix capabilities.
A round-the-clock feature allows for 7-day scheduling of content to power the display.
The LCD3215 ships in September for $1,199, while the LCD4215 will ship in October for $1,699.
