Lutron is by far the lighting control brand used most frequently by installers, according to EH Research’s annual Brand Awareness, Use and Preference survey.
Leviton, Crestron, Control4 and HAI rounded out the Top 5 most used lighting control brands in the custom electronics channel.
According to EH Research’s annual survey of Product Purchase/Market Sizing for the custom channel, CE pros purchased an annual average of $34,400 worth of lighting control products at dealer cost.
Based on assumptions regarding the total number of custom electronics installers/integrators in business throughout the United States and information collected on the average value of purchases by these dealers, approximately $269 million worth of lighting control products were purchased by CE pros during the most recent survey year.
