MK X Series Marks the Spot of Low End Extension
M&K Sound says the company utilized its decades of design experience to develop its new X Series of subwoofers.
MK’s latest product release is the X Series of subwoofers. The company says these new subwoofers provide its authorized dealers with a choice of three solutions that address a variety of home environments.
“Creating the next generation of MK Sound subwoofers was not something we undertook lightly,” says Lars Johansen, president of MK Sound. “With a long legacy of market leading innovation to live up to, we are proud to present the MK Sound X Series built to bring new force, authority and clarity to the critical bottom octaves for the listening pleasure of serious music and movie lovers everywhere.”
According to the company, the X Series subwoofers employs MK’s dual driver push-pull configuration which enables the subwoofers to play low frequencies accurately and responsively. Taking its dual driver alignment to the next level, MK company augments this design through the implementation of its reversed double driver configuration that utilizes a front-mounted woofer and a “back out” bottom-mounted woofer. This design the company says helps the subwoofer to achieve mechanical linearity and low levels of distortion.
