Marshall Speaker System Bears Company’s Famous Script Logo
Marshall Headphones worked with its sister company Marshall Amplification to develop the $800 Hanwell speaker system that allows portable electronics owners to easily plug in to listen to their favorite music on a speaker system that’s capable of delivering a 35Hz to 20kHz frequency response.
Marshall Headphones’ new Hanwell speaker system takes the aesthetics of Marshall’s consumer products to a new level while providing music fans the same sound quality that Slash, Zakk and Lemmy have enjoyed through the decades. The all-in-one speaker system features a wooden enclosure that’s covered in black vinyl, and Marshall trims the system with its classic fret cloth, gold-script logo and gold piping just like its classic amplifiers.
Marshall also includes user controls such as an analog power switch and controls for treble, bass and volume. Internally the speaker system employs two 6-inch HiFi woofers, a pair of HiFi dome tweeters and a 100-watt amplifier. Marshall says the speaker system is capable of reproducing frequencies from 35Hz to 20kHz and it can produce sound pressure levels (SPLs) as high as 110dB. In addition, the speaker also includes a classic looking coiled 3.5mm connecting cable to allow users to connect their iPhones and iPads.
