09.19.2008 — Mark Levinson has introduced its No532 Dual Monaural Power Amplifier, which follows up the company's No502 Media Console.

The No532 features two 400-Watt monaural power amps in a single chassis with three piers.

The control and power circuitry are in the center pier, while the audio circuitry is in the two outer piers — one dedicated to each channel.

The power transformers are located at the front of the chassis, away from the audio circuits. Mark Levinson is promising "distortion-free power and crystal-clear sound" with the unit's voltage regulator circuitry and toroidal power transformers.

Other features:
  • Both RCA and XLR connectors
  • Proprietary ML Net and Link2 technology for inter-device communication
  • A 12-v trigger
It also features an RS-232 port for control via AMX, Crestron and other third-party control systems.

The No532 Dual Monaural Power Amplifier is now shipping. Mark Levinson didn't release pricing.
