Learn the 7 Key Elements of Digital Signage
Webinar lays out expert advice for integrators looking to get in on a potentially $4.8 billion industry.
Integrators are well aware of the buzz about digital signage – it’s a huge opportunity, given that it was a nearly $4 billion industry in 2009 and poised to grow to $4.8 billion this year.
That opportunity, however, means very little for integration companies that don’t know how to effectively roll out digital signage as an extension of their businesses.
To get some guidance, CE Pro turns to an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist and renowned expert on digital signage Alan Brawn of Brawn Consulting. Brawn has developed an educational module, “7 Key Elements of Digital Signage,” and will share the most important aspects of it in a CE Pro Webinar on October 20, 2010.

Brawn will be joined by installer Jim Colquhoun of Avidex and me, moderator Tom LeBlanc, editor of Commercial Integrator.

Webinar attendees will learn about these 7 key elements of digital signage:
- Design -- Approaching this critical step properly will minimize installation time and preserve profits.
- Hardware -- Brawn discusses the actual components included in a digital signage system.
- Connectivity -- There are a few factors to consider when deciding between hard-wired systems and wireless digital signage solutions.
- Software -- Essentially the lifeblood of a digital signage system, CE pros need to consider many factors and functions when choosing software.
- Content -- Since CE pros are more familiar with delivering content than helping clients create custom content, this element can be tricky.
- Operations -- The “unsung hero” of digital signage, Brawn says, operations are the day-to-day processes that make or break profits.
- Business -- Brawn will help CE pros determine whether or not the return on investment will make attempting digital signage worth it for their businesses.

Will a recording be made available for those who missed it?
Cheers
Paul
