Kippycash Joins SpeakerCraft as Nirv Product Manager
Dan Kippycash, Nirv Product Manager, SpeakerCraft
Shown publicly for the first time at CEDIA 2009, Nirv is touted as the ultimate in networked audio/video, with whole-house 1080p video, audio, intercom, data and control -- all over a single Cat 5 cable.
Kippycash is probably best known for his four-year stint at Crestron as director of business development, followed by a four-year go at a startup he founded called Xplore Solutions -- an ambitious developer of IP-based home automation systems that was perhaps ahead of its time.
Most recently, Kippycash was national sales manager for Cinema Design Group International (CDGi), specializing in residential and commercial theater design, manufacturing, seating and acoustical engineering.
At SpeakerCraft, Kippycash will be part of a team working on the development of sales and technical training for Nirv sales reps and dealers, according to his Linkedin profile. Kippycash and his team are charged with the “introduction and education of a whole new path for home automation and handling of media content throughout the home.”

When?...when?... WHEN!?!?
Sorry, I am a SC dealer, and the wait for this along with the lack of any concrete information on it has become frustrating beyond belief.
Hi Flip. Sorry to hear the frustration. However I can say things will be flowing fast and furious beginning next week. I’ll be happy to help fill you in on any details, features and system design. Feel free to call me at the factory. I can say Jason and the team have been working hard to ensure the system wasn’t rushed to market just for the sake of shipping and then provide tons of fixes. That doesn’t do any of the dealers any good. Many manufacturers seem to rush just so they say “We’re Shipping”. The Nirv system is going to really reinvent the category for sure. Give a call and I’ll help in anyway I can.
