Key Digital Introduces Two new HDMI Video Switchers/Distribution Amplifiers

Mount Vernon, NY, July 25th, 2007 – Key Digital Systems, Inc., the leader in video technology and solutions, is introducing two all new HDMI switchers/distribution amplifiers in the KD-HDMI2x4P and KD-HDMI2x8P. These two new switchers can accommodate up to two HDMI inputs and distribute these signals into four (KD-HDMI2x4P) or eight (KD-HDMI2x8P) video outputs. Both switchers are HDMI 1.3 compliant with the capacity to handle all video signals from standard definition 480i to full HD 1080p.

Features for these switchers include:

- Supports coaxial digital audio, optical digital audio (Toslink) and analog audio
- Key Digital IAS circuit automatically senses and switches to the active video input
- Flexible EDID control manages the HDMI communication for any output
- Fully controllable through RS-232.
- Supports any HDMI resolution at 50Hz or 60 Hz.
- Can be cascaded to support up to 100 HDMI video displays
