JVC Intros 4 New D-ILA Projectors, Including 2 THX Certified

JVC is introducing four new D-ILA high-definition projectors, including two that offer THX Certification.

The four new projectors are the:

• DLA-HD750
• DLA-HD350
• DLA-RS20
• DLA-RS10

The DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 offer THX Certification to ensure accurate and exceptional picture quality in the home theater environment.

Technologies used in the projectors include:

• JVC's proprietary 0.7-inch full HD D-ILA devices
• Native contrast ratios of 30,000:1 (DLA-HD750/DLA-RS20), 17,000:1 (DLA-RS10) and 15,000:1 (DLA-HD350)
• Silicon Optix's HQV Reon-VX video processing

The DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 offer up color management that, according to JVC, "interpolates colors individually by R, G, B, C, Y, or M, in three separate axes of color phase, chroma saturation and brightness."

The two THX certified models, the DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20, include THX Movie Mode. The video setting is designed for optimal projector brightness by establishing "the display's gamma, luminance, color temperature and other settings," according to JVC.

Other features of the four projectors include:

• 2x motorized zoom lenses
• Customized on-screen gamma controls
• +/-80 percent vertical and +/-34 percent horizontal motorized lens shift functions
• external 12-volt triggers
• HDMI 1.3 Deep Color

The DLA-HD750 and DLA-HD350 will be marketed by JVC Company of America, the consumer division. JVC Professional Products Company will market the DLA-RS20 and DLA-RS10.
