ISE Extends Contract with Amsterdam RAI Through 2019
ISE 2013 set records for the number of exhibitors (894-plus) and the amount of floor space (33,000 net square meters) at the Amsterdam RAI.
ISE will continue to be held in Amsterdam through 2019 as the show extended its previous contract, set to expire in 2016, an additional three years with Amsterdam RAI. ISE has been located in Amsterdam for 8 of its10-year existence.
The move is a no-brainer as Amsterdam’s popularity as host city has been reaffirmed by early numbers for the 2013 show. Attendee figures are poised to set a record, with pre-registration running around 6 percent ahead of 2012, and 894 exhibitors are set to occupy more than 33,000 net square meters of floor space – both record numbers for ISE.
“Extending our contract with the RAI provides certainty for all of our event’s stakeholders: associations, exhibitors, visitors and press,” explains Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events. “The RAI has invested heavily in infrastructure and facilities over the past two years, and this programme will continue in the future, further enhancing the venue and making it the clear choice for ISE for the foreseeable future.”
ISE also announced the 2015 show will move to the second week of February, “making it easier to manage for exhibitors who also attend January events in North America such as CES and Winter NAMM.” ISE 2014 will take place as previously scheduled, February 4-6 2014.
