The company, which announced it would be adding four CableCards at CEDIA, is the third manufacturer to support the quad tuners.
Exceptional Innovation and Niveus were the first manufacturers to offer four CableCard support.
Inteset is also pushing distribution of content through Media Center Extenders (MCX), including the Xbox 360 and recently announced units from D-Link, Linksys and Niveus.
“Dealers can now offer the low cost but powerful MCX platform to their customers to distribute media, including protected premium HD cable content around the house,” says David Hirsh, director of Inteset business development.
With four CableCard tuners, the Inteset server can distribute to up to 5 media center extenders with four Live TV streams and one pre-recorded stream.
