06.02.2008 — Integra is including four HDMI inputs and Audyssey's Dynamic EQ loudness compensation technology in its new DTR-5.9 A/V receiver

It still features the same HDMI repeaters and audio processing as the DTR-5.8 and 1080p video.

It also has internal decoding for DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus lossless and high resolution audio formats and 1080i upscaling.

"The DTR-5.8 was one of the first products available to custom installers that delivered on the full promise of HDMI v1.3a," says Integra director of sales Keith Haas.

"The DTR-5.9 ups the ante with the ability to handle more HDMI sources, improved video scaling capabilities, and improved performance at moderate listening levels thanks to Audyssey Dynamic EQ technology."

The DTR-5.9 has a seven-channel amplifier section at 90 Watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 110 Watts into 6 ohms and can deliver output from 5 Hz to 100 kHz.

It's Sirius Satellite Radio ready with 40 presets, has bi-directional RS-232 and Ethernet ports, three programmable 12-volt triggers and dual IR inputs.

The Integra DTR-5.9 is currently available for $800.
