09.10.2007 — DENVER (September 9, 2007) – The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has honored 45 of its members for excellence in the design and installation of electronic systems. CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards are considered the most prestigious awards program for the $10 billion residential electronic systems industry.

Work submitted for the Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards is completed in consumer homes around the world in the following categories: home theaters, integrated homes, media rooms, hidden installations and more. Submissions range from $40,000 single-room projects to whole-house integration systems that carry price tags topping $3 million.

Winners were selected by two qualified panels which evaluated submissions based on both the technical merits and the design/aesthetics. The technical panel consisted of five CEDIA residential electronic systems contractor members and the design panel included members from the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Interior Designers.

Note: The Entry# appearing next to each winning company name corresponds with the Entry# in the Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Awards Book and ~FM~ represents a Founding Member of CEDIA.
