HAI Intros 2 OmniTouch Portable Touchscreens
Offers built-in Wi-Fi, compatibility with all HAI controllers except Omni LT.

08.27.2008 — HAI is adding to its line of portable home automation controls with the OmniTouch 8P and OmniTouch 10P touchscreens.
The 8P and 10P have 8- and 10-inch TFT Active Matrix LCD screens, respectively, and feature built-in Wi-Fi.
Both models, which will be displayed at CEDIA Expo 2008 (booth 868), have plug-and-play interfaces for any of HAI's Ethernet-enabled controllers, except Omni LT.
They offer control of lights, small appliances, security, temperatures, pools, ventilation, whole-home audio systems and more.
The 8P has one USB port, while the 10P includes two.
The touchscreens also include:
HAI, which recently developed a developer support program, didn't release pricing. The company expects to ship the OmniTouch 8P and OmniTouch 10P in Q4 2008.
