GE Home Technologies Adds Control4

Network of integrators, formerly known as AIN, offers Control4 automation products.

Control4 has been named the exclusive home control product platform for GE Home Technologies’ Authorized Integrators Network (AIN).

AIN, which has 125 integrator members, will offer Control4's complete line of whole-home automation products for GE Home Technologies, which was formerly called AIN.

AIN targets the residential and commercial new construction niche with the goal of creating a one-stop solution for structured wiring, security and fire, surveillance, controlled access, audio/video and central vac.

AIN group includes companies such as Guardian Home Technologies, the No. 1 company in the CE Pro 100. Many of the companies are in the forefront of installing GE’s ecomagination system.

"We are excited about our relationship with Control4 because our members are looking for a core home control partner," says AIN Group president Stan Matysiak.

The move is not surprising, given Control4's close ties to Sony, a founding AIN vendor (the others are GE, Klipsch and Dirt Devil). In February, Sony announced the NHS-130C, a preconfigured rack-mount entertainment system integrated with Control4 home controls.
