Fusion Media Servers Support Blu-ray
Blu-ray playback available on new media servers and as upgrade for legacy Fusion servers
Fusion Research is the latest provider to support Blu-ray ripping and playback on its media servers (no ripping in the first gen), following similar announcements from Fuze, Inteset, Axonix and others.
Using technology from ArcSoft, the company is offering brand new media servers with the Blu-ray capabilities, as well as upgrade solutions for customers with legacy Fusion products.
"This is the first step in a multi-tiered approach to providing 1080p native content support,” says Fusion president Joseph Storm.
Fusion's media servers allow users to collect, manage and display their movies, music and photos throughout the home.
