05.21.2008 — ESPN, in conjunction with tvCompass, has released its Ultimate Remote that controls home theater solutions, set top boxes and IP equipment.
The remote has Wi-Fi capability, giving users one-touch access to Web-based content, including sports news, a weather widget, email, text messaging etc.
The Ultimate Remote can control a variety of components and "IP equipment."
