ELAN says the 300 seats were bought by technicians and installers across the globe, including 24 international registrations representing 10 countries on four continents.
“It’s remarkable to see such industry enthusiasm for technical training with ELAN, HomeLogic and Sunfire and the chance to network with our prestigious group of sponsors has resulted in an earlier-than-ever sell-out for Tech Week 2008,” says ELAN executive vice president of sales and marketing Paul Starkey.
“The power of our three companies together has proven to be a tremendous draw. Although we officially had to shut down registration when we hit 300, we are, in fact, oversold.
“The phones continue to ring with many dealers and sales managers calling for additional seats. In response, we have created a waiting list in the event that any more event space and rooms become available.”
Tech Week will be held May 13-16 at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Kentucky.
