Dynaudio Unveils Excite Loudspeakers
Five new models have new driver technology and will ship in June.

Dynaudio has unveiled the five models of its new Excite loudspeakers: the Excite X36, X32, X22, X16 and X12.
The Excite models have new driver technology, featuring MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) membranes, die-cast aluminum frame baskets, lightweight aluminum voice coils, phase aligned first-order crossover networks and soft dome tweeters.
The new driver also offers a longer linear excursion of the voice coil, allowing for higher dynamics at high volumes.
All Excite models feature an optimized cabinet construction and a rigid 25mm front baffle.
The speakers are available in rosewood, cherry, black ash or maple finishes beginning in June.
Here's a breakdown of each model:
Excite X36 ($3,600 per pair): 3-way floor-standing, dual 18-cm woofers, 11 cm midrange
Excite X32 ($2,800 per pair): 2-way floor-standing, dual 14.5-cm mid/bass
Excite X22 ($850 each): Center center speaker with dual 11-cm mid/bass
Excite X16 ($1,600 per pair): 2-way compact speaker, 18-cm mid/bass
Excite X12 ($1,200 per pair): 2-way compact speaker, 14.5-cm mid/bass
