DMP Becomes Integrated Partner with Crestron
Partnership to help ease integration of DMP alarm panels in automation systems.
SPRINGFIELD, Missouri — Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has become an Integrated Partner with Crestron, the world's leading manufacturer of advanced commercial control systems and home automation systems.
With the recent availability of a set of Crestron-written drivers for the XR500/XR100 Series Access, Burglary and Fire Command Processor panel, system designer can now more easily integrate the control of their DMP security system in their clients' home or office systems.
"This new partnership brings together technology from the two market leaders," said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. "There are already many existing installations using DMP alarm panels with Crestron systems. These individuals wanted the outstanding security and convenience offered by DMP technology, but creating those systems required customized drivers. Now, home or business owners can more easily combine the market-leading security technology with the market-leading automation technology using the set of Creston-created drivers."
Designers and installers can download the set of Crestron drivers for DMP panels at no cost from the Integrated Partner Modules area of the Crestron Tools and Resources webpage.

A partnership to keep DMP from going under since they can’t afford to hire any additional engineers for their oversized building. A cheaper way to expand their product line. Hopefully it pays off in the end.
