Crimson VersaFit mount
The mount manufacturer Crimson says that its VersaFit product is designed to conceal cabling runs to make the appearance of a wall-mounted TV blend seamlessly into a home environment.
The Schiller Park, Ill.-based company Crimson is new to the custom electronics market and it is making its best effort to provide custom installers with the products they need to be successful.
Crimson's new VersaFit is an in-wall A/V mounting system that is says solves many of the problems electronics professionals encounter in the field when they are mounting a flat-panel television. The company says the product is designed to blend into a home's existing decor, and it hides a video system's cabling and other associated hardware. The VersaFit system includes a recessed in-wall box that mounts between studs behind a flat-panel TV, and a compatible backbox completes the solution to neaten the appearance of an installed wall mount.
The VersaFit works with more than 20 of Crimson's wall mounts, including nine of its articulating arm products, and it comes with built-in guides for installation in half-inch and five-eighth inch drywall to support toolless leveling.
