Crestron TPS-6X Touchpanel Offers Wired and Wireless Control
Versatile touchpanel can communicate wirelessly via RF or IR up to 200 feet.
Crestron's TPS-6X touchpanel provides the same functionality previously found in nine separate touchpanels.
While docked, the TPS-6X is a wired Cresnet or Ethernet connected panel with full-motion video display. The TPS-6X, which can be tilted, enables users to upload programs onto the system while charging on the dock.
When the TPS-6X is taken off the dock, it automatically switches to wireless mode and communicates with two-way RF and one-way IR up to 200 feet.
It features an Isys graphic engine, including dynamic text and graphics. It ships with both a pre-engraved backlit button bezel and a blank bezel with a glossy black finish.
The 6-inch touchpanel also goes to sleep when not in use. It wakes up and works immediately by touching the screen or any button.
The TPS-6X comes with illuminated buttons and an on-screen menu. It's also available without buttons.
Crestron has not released pricing or availability.
