WAUKEGAN, Ill. (September 24, 2007) -- Coleman Cable Inc. (CCI) announces a new bundled cable that features two Cat 6 and two RG6 Quad (# 99276). This advanced category cable will power a wider variety of residential applications including voice, data, video, CATV, HDMI and more. The Cat 6 cable has more headroom than the Cat 5e cable and its 'X-shaped' spline separates the pairs for less cross talk or interference.

"CCI is constantly seeking new product offerings under our Signal brand to meet the needs of the installer," said Dan Hastings, vice president of the security/home technology division at Coleman Cable. "This newest addition to our full line of pre-bundled structured wiring cables will help provide further solutions for virtually any home technology application."

CCI's new bundled cables have an outer jacket that provides protection from damage caused during installation. The jacket's color-coded exterior also provides identification for the sensitive Cat 6 codes to insure optimum performance, as well as to help eliminate incorrect pulls.
