08.20.2008 — CodexNovus will be showcasing three digital innovations at its booth (510) at CEDIA Expo 2008.

The company's newest server, the DMS-6000 Digital Media Server, will be showcased. It has 6TB of storage and can simultaneously stream eight 1080p videos.

The DMS-6000 distributes media in 5.1 and 7.1 lossless digital audio and artifact-free HD video with resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,080.

It has two gigabit ports to send up to 120 Mbps of data. This also allows for 12 standard definition video streams, 16 high-res audio streams or 48 simultaneous MP3 streams.

DML Series Servers

The DML Series Digital Media Player/Server provides random access to all digital media — movies, music and digital images — in lossless 5.1 and 7.1 high-resolution digital audio and artifact-free HD video with resolutions of up to 1,920 x 1,080.

All CodexNovus DML Series servers are built around the proprietary HDcodex software.

HDcodex enables users to consolidate and catalog media libraries to eliminate time and frustration. The on-screen interface allows users to browse all stored media in any format or network location.

Peer-to-Peer Network

CodexNovus will introduce the CodexNovus Peer-to-Peer Network, a fully expandable multimedia system for storing and playing entire digital media libraries.

The CodexNovus Peer-to-Peer Network delivers multimedia, including 1080p high-definition video and 5.1 and 7.1 multi-channel audio, simultaneously via a broadband Gigabit Ethernet connection.

This enables growth of multimedia libraries without needing multiple online copies of the content.
