Chief Introduces the Next Evolution of In-Wall Swing Arm Mounts

The industry's first fully integrated in-wall mount provides perfect TV placement.

Minneapolis, MN. USA -- Chief Manufacturing, the industry leader in flat panel TV and projector mounts, introduces a new series of state-of-the-art in-wall swing arm mounts. Designed for 26-63" flat panel TVs up to 200 lbs (90.7 kg), the new MIWRF and PIWRF Series allow perfect TV placement during installation without the need to retrofit existing wall structures. Simply cut out the drywall at the desired wall location and install the new in-wall box.

The new in-wall solution offers the industry's first fully integrated, pre-assembled in-wall mounts, fitting flush inside the wall with a low-profile finish. Chief had an excellent debut of the new in-wall mounts at CEDIA 2007 where the mounts received the Pacific Media Buckaroo HDTV Award for Best of Show. The award series recognizes "trailblazing technology."

In-wall installation of flat panel TVs is made easier with features like built-in lateral shift and height adjustment. Additionally, integrated cable management and a trim kit are provided for an aesthetic and low-profile finish of less than 2" (51 mm).

Users have increased positioning flexibility of their flat panel TV with wide viewing angles. Optimal viewing is achieved with 40 degrees of left/right swivel, up to 15 inches (381 mm) of extension (on the PIWRF series), fingertip tilt and ultra smooth movement.

The new inwall swing arm saves me installation time because I do not have to cut any studs!  Also, at their booth you could feel how smooth the arm glides allowing even smaller people to be able to swing a large flat panel out!  I also liked the unique design.
