Chief’s Short Throw Projector Mount incorporates Luidia’s eBeam interactive media technologies to enable installers to retrofit their existing clients’ A/V systems with new media interoperability.

The evolution of the residential home electronics industry is well underway with many companies transitioning from a business model that was based on business from new home construction to businesses that incorporate revenues from the home retrofit and commercial electronics markets.

Chief's latest projector market incorporates elements that can be applied to both retrofit installations and the commercial markets. The company's new Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount can be used to provide professionals in a working environment with a solution that updates their existing presentation systems or newly specified audio/video systems. The Minn.-based manufacturer says the mount features the interactive eBeam Technology from Luidia, Inc., that enables the mount to automatically transform clients' existing whiteboards into interactive presentations with projected images that can be scaled anywhere from 48 inches to 94 inches.

According to the company the mount installs quickly through its Quick-Connect System, and once it's mounted, Chief says the eBeam interactive system can be setup with both Macs and PCs.
